Brain Enema of a Savage Mind

It’s taken a stupid long time to get to this point since I started the new blog, but I have now hit the very uninspiring 100th post milestone!  I’m not sure if its irony, or some sort of sign that this milestone comes right at one of my pushes to get back in to my writing habit.  I’m not setting any particular goals such as daily posting or some such, but I would like to at least do four or five posts a week throughout the year.  For most posts I’ll at least try and find some particular topic to post on - most likely I’ll browse the web for inspiration, there’s always plenty of wacky shit out there I can use to post about.  But for this one (in part because I’m both tired and lazy), I’ll just ramble on a bit.  In fact I have rambled on a bit thanks to the fact that this is the 100th post so it gave me something perfectly inane to babble about.

I’ve moved posts over from the old server to the new one as well as getting the formatting back to the way that it was. I’ve also made a few changes and there will be a few more minor ones on the way.  Using the new server it’ll be a lot easier to do some of the things that I want, rather than before where I would have had to bash my head against the wall (so to speak) a fair amount of time.  Things are a lot more streamlined now.

At the moment I’m torn between setting back up a web gallery on this site, or just paying for a Flickr Pro account.  Decisions decisions.

I missed a day of posting.  Yesterday was just too relaxing of a day and the impetous to post just slipped right out of my mind.

It’s the 4th April - and other than it being a Friday there’s not much more interesting than that.  I just wanted to keep in practice posting here.

Actually I have a few writing ideas which I’ll work on tonight or tomorrow.  Hopefully it will feel good to spill out some of my mind.

Ithaca is home to the wackiest weather.  Last week we had rain, ice, snow, sun, fog, and all sorts of other fun.  One day in fact we had thunder while it was snowing which was quite surreal.  Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to jump up in to the mid-60’s which of course will mean lots of wind, and yes, thunderstorms.  Of course then it will drop another 20 degrees the next day.  Wacky weather.

I’m back to trying to post regularly in the attempt that my brain will actually generate some mildly interesting content.  Certainly this isn’t it, but I am trying.  I figure if I keep posting, even if its just snippets of nothing much in particular it might help to get things going.  Or I could just keep chatting about the weather.
